My name is Helene and I design knitting patterns here at Quist Knitwear.

I have been knitting since I was a child, but I really picked up the interest (along with a more or less healthy obsession with yarn) in my early 20-ties. I have always loved free-style knitting and making things without a pattern or sets of instructions, and rather just let the yarn and creativity lead the way. When I discovered knitting-instagram it turned out that many others also liked the products from my free-style knitting and I started writing down the instructions for others to make the same things. And this way, Quist Knitwear was born.

I hope that my knitting patterns will bring you lots of joy and inspiration.
